Take a long view and act in the here and now.

Today future is far away; tomorrow it will decide human fate. As individuals we live with hopes and worries about our personal fate and about the future of humanity. It’s important to develop scenarios and visions. However, it’s not sufficient to think about the future. We also need to act in the present time and get others to act. We need to promote public awareness of issues of the long-term future.

Support the development of life on earth, the planets, and the universe.

We consider it an essential part of humankind to think and act beyond our own immediate needs. We have the possibility to destroy or to protect life, to reduce our environment or to develop new environments. We need to prepare the ground that the right decisions will be made in the future.

Members, friends and projects

Future 25 is an open platform. Members and friends can suggest projects and activities. Our statute provides an underlying structure; long-term thinking and acting is the combining element.
